Finally!! The week of Christmas. Who woulda thought it would be here so fast? Oh, but I LOVE this season. Especially the baking cause I have this big excuse to eat all the yummy sweets and keep reminding myself that a new year is right around the corner and I can loose all that weight after new years! Really that is my BIGGEST resolution this year to drop all this extra weight! That and turn this blog into a blog and not just once a month sort of thing.

Grandma and Grandpa are about to walk into this house any hour now. The kids have already started peaking out the window asking when they are going to be here... before 2! I hope anyway because I told the kiddos G & G will be here for the program at church this afternoon and they are super duper excited about that!!!

And can you believe I have been super busy with life and it has been a blast! Only needing to worry about me and my family and no orders needing to get shipped out! Yesterday I was on a roll!! Got the basement SPOTLESS!! Went through all the kids clothes (again! ...why do they grow so fast?!) and toys... getting ready for Christmas, so out with the old and broken and in with new. Hopefully this house will stay a little less cluttered with all the bags of toys going to goodwill! Girls are loving getting some clothes made! Believe it or not, they are the ones who lack the most in wearing 1crown3tiaras. I am hoping to get myself some pillows and maybe even curtains made during this time off! Off to get this place tidied up before G & G get here. ttfn.

So, the blogging has become next to NONE. Orders are almost finished and I will surface from my studio... I promise kids! We have gotten I think about 2 feet of snow in the past week. Wet snow, which means the kids go out and come in soaking. Every. 15. minutes!! I am almost missing the Midwest winters... yes, I have become a little nutty! ...I do have an excuse for that though. Deadlines!! They really do make a person nutty! Speaking of I am ALMOST done with my orders and I will be officially in the Christmas spirit!!

Oh Boy!!

I am now longing to start my boy line!!

September was a BUSY month... hence the lack of blogging. Just trying to get into the new schedule.

OCTOBER. finally. (only because Dad graduates August 25th).

Now 3 kids in school makes things a bit more tricky for me. Just one at home is taking some time to get used to. Now I am THE only person here to entertain the 3 year old... which is a FULL time job!! So my work hours have changed a bit, but thankfully I have Dad home in the evenings now. {grin} So my work still gets done!!

Since I seem to be needing to revert back into September and fill you in...

Anna Maria Horner has done it again!!!

Dad took the 3 oldest kids fishing right after school. I am done working for the day and finally have time to organize my studio. I LOVE it when everything is in it's place and I can work without clutter!!

Got two more items in my shop this week that scream fall!!

Baby is very lonesome for her siblings during school. We just started working on writing her name. So far she has mastered the first letter, but trying to explain that the number 3 is not part of her name it's her age is a bit tough. Age is a BIG thing for a 3 year old!
It is amazing how much this little kindergarten has changed since school started. Her mood swings have vanished and she is a sponge at school. All evening she tells me everything she did and learned at school. I really don't think she misses telling a single minute of her day!

Second day of Kindergarten...

I decided that I would just have to take pictures on the second day of school and I was fine with that. But Fancy was not ok with it. She wanted nothing to do with me and my camera.

Fancy if you please turn around I promise I will only take one.

Better than nothing right!? Stubborn little thing! Please smile for your teacher Fancy.

Fancy had her first day of Kindergarten today! Yes, we took lots of pictures, only to come home and realize that my camera chip was still tucked inside my laptop.... I was livid... still am.

But I did capture some photos when she came home with her in my restyled Divine Blossom Tunic.

I am seriously missing my dear friend today as I am everyday. When I was visiting her in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes area she was able to use her photography skills and capture some photos of her DARLING daughter in a new fall outfit of mine...
Her little princess was so excited to get a new outfit from me... I LOVE seeing the excitement of little girls wearing 1crown3tiaras!!

School starts tomorrow. Bittersweet. This summer went by WAY to fast as every summer does. At the same time it is nice to get back on schedule.
Dad doesn't start school until the middle of September so we are excited to spend some quite mornings with just us and Baby... I think she will get extra spoiled by both of us during the next couple of weeks! I have to mention that this is Dads LAST year of school!!!

I will be done with the vacation post soon. We are very thankful we were all able to make it to my Grandmothers funeral. She passed away at the age of 98 years old. We REALLY enjoyed visiting with all our family and friends from the Midwest. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality.

We are trying really, really hard not to spoil her... any suggestions on not giving in when she pouts those big lips?

Is it really June?

Fun in the sun for the ONLY couple days of sunshine this past month. Yes, we gambled on the weather and went camping. And I am so glad we did cause as soon as we pull in our driveway it's rain. I know weather is really an over touched subject, but really? Rain through June? This is not the typical beautiful Spokane summer that I moved here for!

So yeah, we really did somehow sneak the ONLY nice days of weather this month and went camping. That is why I can justify so many photos today...

And when Mini has her own camera now... this is what you pay for! (you know it's going to be bad when right after she takes the picture she chuckles and says that's funny!)
This big boy seams to make friends everywhere he goes! What a blast he had fishing... This time a fishing partner!
Fished last night with Dad and then woke up this morning and fished for 7 hours STRAIGHT!!

What bliss...

Can't wait for our next family getaway!
