'Tis the season...

ok, ok... I will finally get into the season with you!!!
Tyke has been very into science lately!! I get to go to his class tomorrow and meet real live crayfish and snails!! I can't wait {grin}!!!
He has been skipping to school ever since these little creatures embraced his classroom last week. Everyday he comes home from school and lets me know how his little animal friends are doing, so I asked if I can come meet these little creatures and he can't wait to introduce them to me!!! I just hope one doesn't bite me.
Baby is still managing to keep her position in the family as "Baby"!!! Much to my dismay since I am anxiously waiting for her to wear undies but claims she can't because she is a baby and babies wear diapers!! Does anyone have any ideas for me? or any words of encouragement?? She is about to turn 3 here in a couple of months!
Fancy is such a sweet little girl (when she wants to be) she told Baby last night that she needs to learn how to write her letters so she can write her name! So now she is graciously teaching Baby how to write her name... I love it when they get along!
Mini. She is VERY into Junie B. Jones books and hopes Santa brings her a few more! Hopefully he knows which ones she has read already!! Her program is tomorrow at school and so she has been faithfully practicing all evening!
Can you guess who came home this evening?? For 1 whole month?!?

Oh, the things kids say...

Bobbi - Hey Fancy, this one time when I was sucking on an m&m for a long time... guess what happended? ...it turned into chocolate!!!
Fancy - Gimme one of them, I want to try it!

5 Things to be thankful for...

While reading a friends blog today I decided to join her and blog 5 things to be thankful for...

1. TIME... well, I always seem to wish for more hours in a day.. but really, I should be thankful for the time I have!!

2.SISTERS... when I need a smile to lift my spirits, I just think of one of my sisters and it works every time!!

3. PATIENCE... no really, I have had to learn to have more patience, and I am glad for taking the time and learning this VERY important ingredient! {I do still need to work on it at times!!}
4. ETSY... how else would I spend me extra time??

5. FAITH AND FAMILY... most important!!

Do you ever sit an marvel?
...at how creative kids can be??
...or notice how much thought
is put into each thing that they do??
...are you thankful for all the things that they make
just for you??
...or wonder what is running through their little heads??
I know I do!

Autumn...

What do we do on cold and windy Autumn days??
Watch the squirrels gather their winter supply of walnuts...
Actually it is really fun to watch...
how fast they can open the walnut...
Tyke wanting to help the squirrels...
while the girls watch from the window...
