Really I don't know why or how this happened, but as right after breakfast yesterday morning my upper back started hurting and within an hour it was OUT!!!! REALLY!! I could NOT move!!! I started updating my blog which realized needed ALOT more time than a single Saturday afternoon, so I then decided to catch up on MUCH needed office work!!

So, I spent my day entering customer information and invoices into quick-books, took only about 12 hours of straight computer work to finish, but I feel OH, SO relieved to get it done!! Maybe because it was on my list of things to get done before school is out so we can get hang out at Granite Pointe Resort & get some sunrays in... or maybe just so I make the seasons pass worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been a good one {until my back went out... but hopefully that is temporarily!}

A Good Day!

It was a good day. Fancy & I took off just before lunch for a mom & me date. I believe it was much needed for both Fancy and I. Everything about it was perfect... she even had to tell me it was time to leave McD's playland. I was just devouring that big smile she was giving me knowing that she had ALL my attention... JUST HER!!
It truly is one of my favorite things to do... mom & me dates. I let her plan the day... which started off at the hair salon so she could get her hair cut, styled and feel like a princess... she is just that! I feel so much more relaxed now and rejuvenated and loved by that little weasel of mine! The most important things on her list were to go shopping for fancy stuff, and a trip into Baskin 31 for bubble gum ice cream. So we did just that! The game of the day was don't step on a crack or you'll break your Mamas back... Oh boy!! My poor mom! Fancy takes the cake on that game.
I LOVE HER!!! And her entire personality, which isn't always pleasant.... but, she has a heart of gold!

This was the week that I launched "Once Upon a time..." Spring 2011? or,
This was also the week that has been an AWESOME week for 1crown3tiaras?!! or... that my "n" button doesn't work on my computer, thanks to my youngest little cherub for spilling water on my keyboard!! {my husband promises to get me a new keyboard tomorrow}... but in until then I have to copy and paste every "n " letter I write!! That may explain my lack of blogging!!
With that being said...

Once upon a time...

ok... so really~ I was hoping that 2011 would bring a whole new year of blogging for me. WHAT??!! Now I see that aitn't happening!! But, I will give myself credit for the blogging I have done!! I am NOT a writer, but a sewer. My creative juices flow when I am in my studio. NOT when I am on my computer... unfortunately. Sometimes I think how easy it would be to be a writer... until I sit down and write! Ugh... my husband is a writer. He is also WAY more book smart than me! I will try blog MORE. But, I can't promise. I will promise to design & sew for you:)

Where did that week go???

Wowza!! Why am I SO tired?? Oh boy... what a week:) Lots of new items coming into shop starting this week!!!! Went to 3 fabric stores today trying to find the perfect fabric for a portrait dress today.... still nothing. I think I might be up all night scouring the internet. I have had this gorgeous lace fabric that I have had in my studio for quite a long time and LOTS of it... I finally have it all sketched out! So basic and it's going to be another favorite of mine. I just know it!!

Today I LOVE Spring!!!

If you saw my studio you would think I am a crazy lady!!

It's coming! It's almost done!! Most of it is done. Some of it is sent to photographers. 5 photographers. I am so excited to show you. I will be giving a few more sneak peaks just to keep you interested!

The start of a New Year...

For me it is somewhat of a strange feeling to have the holidays over and the kids back in school. It's almost bittersweet. The month of December is busy.busy.busy. and then it's all over and a new year is here. I will admit I LOVE new years resolutions... although, I don't know if I call them resolutions. Goals... I always have a list of goals and the New Year gives me a chance to sit down and go over my goals cross some off and add some new.

I have a VERY dear friend of mine who last month graduated and is now a social worker. I love hearing how much passion she has for her new life and the goals and dreams she expresses. I get so much inspiration just listening to her over the phone. I wish I could have made it to her graduation party yesterday 1500 miles away. I was there in spirit and my dear mother did text me a picture! Thanks mom!

I just can't help myself and give you a little sneak peak at the Spring 2011 line...
I hope all of you have as much excitement for 2011 as I do!!

Finally!! The week of Christmas. Who woulda thought it would be here so fast? Oh, but I LOVE this season. Especially the baking cause I have this big excuse to eat all the yummy sweets and keep reminding myself that a new year is right around the corner and I can loose all that weight after new years! Really that is my BIGGEST resolution this year to drop all this extra weight! That and turn this blog into a blog and not just once a month sort of thing.

Grandma and Grandpa are about to walk into this house any hour now. The kids have already started peaking out the window asking when they are going to be here... before 2! I hope anyway because I told the kiddos G & G will be here for the program at church this afternoon and they are super duper excited about that!!!

And can you believe I have been super busy with life and it has been a blast! Only needing to worry about me and my family and no orders needing to get shipped out! Yesterday I was on a roll!! Got the basement SPOTLESS!! Went through all the kids clothes (again! ...why do they grow so fast?!) and toys... getting ready for Christmas, so out with the old and broken and in with new. Hopefully this house will stay a little less cluttered with all the bags of toys going to goodwill! Girls are loving getting some clothes made! Believe it or not, they are the ones who lack the most in wearing 1crown3tiaras. I am hoping to get myself some pillows and maybe even curtains made during this time off! Off to get this place tidied up before G & G get here. ttfn.

So, the blogging has become next to NONE. Orders are almost finished and I will surface from my studio... I promise kids! We have gotten I think about 2 feet of snow in the past week. Wet snow, which means the kids go out and come in soaking. Every. 15. minutes!! I am almost missing the Midwest winters... yes, I have become a little nutty! ...I do have an excuse for that though. Deadlines!! They really do make a person nutty! Speaking of I am ALMOST done with my orders and I will be officially in the Christmas spirit!!

Oh Boy!!

I am now longing to start my boy line!!

September was a BUSY month... hence the lack of blogging. Just trying to get into the new schedule.

OCTOBER. finally. (only because Dad graduates August 25th).

Now 3 kids in school makes things a bit more tricky for me. Just one at home is taking some time to get used to. Now I am THE only person here to entertain the 3 year old... which is a FULL time job!! So my work hours have changed a bit, but thankfully I have Dad home in the evenings now. {grin} So my work still gets done!!

Since I seem to be needing to revert back into September and fill you in...
